Pictures claiming to be of Manchester United's new kit nest season have surfaced on the web in recent weeks, and now images of a black third kit have emerged too.
Adidas will replace Nike as the Red Devils' shirt sponsor as of next season having agreed a world record £750 million deal over 10 years.
The German sportswear manufacturer appear to be playing it safe with the home kit which will be red with white cuffs and feature a deep red stripe across the torso, while the away kit will reportedly be largely white white with three red stripes down the arm.
However it is the third kit that is likely to cause the biggest stir. The new images today show an entirely black shirt with red stripes on the arms with a red logo. Manchester United fans have received the kit well, something that can't necessarily be said of the home kit.
Regardless of their kit next season it appears as though Manchester United will be back in the Champions League after a fine run of form at the right time.
Louis van Gaal's team have won their last five Premier League games on the bounce, including key wins over top four rivals Tottenham and Liverpool in recent weeks.
They are now up to third after beating Aston Villa over the weekend, a point clear of rivals Manchester City after their defeat against Crystal Palace on Monday. Fifth placed Liverpool are a further seven points back with just seven games remaining.
If these pictures turn out to be true then Manchester United fans are likely to be very happy indeed. The move to Adidas was welcomed by the Red Devils faithful because of their long-standing links with the club, and it seems they have produced three kits that most will love.
However it is the black third kit which catches the eye most - it's simple yet striking and will be a hit at Old Trafford. The white away kit leaves the most to be desired, but is by no means a monstrosity.
