Published Add your comment

We begin in the NFL where New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount has been suspended for Week One of the 2015 season. The suspension is in relation to Blount’s arrest for marijuana possession, alongside ex-Pittsburgh teammate Le’Veon Bell, back in August 2014. Elsewhere in the league and, ahead of the 2015 NFL Draft, highly touted Defensive End, Dante Fowler Jr. is in confident mood. The Florida prospect told reporters he would be “stunned” if he wasn’t selected third overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Across to the NBA and there were contrasting results for two teams battling for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. The New Orleans Pelicans upset the Warriors, whilst Oklahoma City were well beaten by the Spurs. The results see the Pelicans move into the playoff spots. Finally, in baseball, C.J. Wilson is being praised for his performance last night. The pitcher threw eight shutout innings to help the Los Angeles Angels to a 2-0 win over the Seattle Mariners.
