Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has revealed that he spoke with the side's defence after suffering from a humiliating defeat against Premier League rivals Arsenal this past weekend.
The Belgian shot-stopper, who endured a torrid time between the sticks earlier on in this campaign, has admitted that he spoke with some of his teammates on the way home from the Emirates.
Liverpool, of course, were beaten 4-1 in north London, leaving them seven points behind Manchester City, who occupy the final Champions League position.

And Mignolet has revealed that talks did happen after the clash, as he told the club's official site: "You always look for certain things you can do better and what went wrong.
"I always speak to the defence and on the way back from Arsenal we talked through a couple of things.

"You always try to take the positives and negatives out of the game. I'm my own biggest critic and you analyse your games in a critical way together with the goalkeeping coach. You see afterwards what you could have done better."
Despite the nightmare result, Mignolet has insisted that Brendan Rodgers' side are ready to bounce back immediately, with the Reds in action against Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup quarter-final replay at Ewood Park this evening.
FA Cup clash
In fact, despite admitting that it won't be easy to reach the last four of the competition, Mignolet has insisted that the side must put in a strong performance to secure their place at Wembley.
He continued by saying: "The good thing is that if there is a game coming so close afterwards, you can go into that game looking forward to making sure that you put things right.
"It's a massive game against Blackburn, we knew that beforehand. It's not going to be easy and it's going to be a totally different game to the one away at Arsenal. It will be tough, but we want to get through to the next round and put in a performance to make sure that we play in the semifinal at Wembley."
Make or break
And there's no doubt about it, tonight's game really is a huge one for the Merseyside outfit. With Champions League football now looking a long way off, Rodgers' side can't afford to be knocked out of the cup this evening.
It's now crucial that they at least make the final of the competition, with the prospect of a rematch with Arsenal on the horizon.
Mignolet and Co. will be determined to get back to their best immediately after disappointing results against Manchester United and the Gunners, and they must step up this evening or face a torrid end to the season.
