Radamel Falcao has revealed he hoping to play a part in the derby game against Manchester City this weekend after missing out on in earlier this season.
The Colombian striker has not started a game for Manchester United since February and has even played for the Under-21s. Robin van Persie is still the first choice for Louis van Gaal and the Dutch striker appears to have recovered from a slight knock to face the Citizens.
But despite not scoring for the Red Devils since January, Falcao hopes to get a chance to play in the famous Manchester derby. It will probably be his last chance to do so.

"I’d be thrilled to play in this match on Sunday. The atmosphere will be phenomenal."
“It really means a lot to our fans and theirs, so of course I’d be thrilled to play in this match on Sunday. The atmosphere will be phenomenal,” he is quoted by Sky Sports as saying.
“In Manchester the derby means a lot. Unfortunately I didn’t play in the derby earlier this season, but you could sense the atmosphere in the city for more than a week before the match itself, it was all people were talking about.”
Falcao will be lucky to get any time in Sunday's game at Old Trafford. It seems Van Gaal has found Manchester United's best formation, which involves playing Wayne Rooney up front.
With Van Persie now back to full fitness there is a chance that Falcao won't even make the bench, let alone the starting line up. The 29-year-old will be hoping his recent form for the Colombian national team will put him ahead of Van Persie in the pecking order.
Back to form?
Falcao scored three goals in two games for Colombia during the international break. The goals did come against footballing minnows Bahrain and Kuwait but they were goals nevertheless.
But, unfortunately, the damage has already been done. Falcao's terrible form has failed to impress anyone at Manchester United and he will return to AS Monaco when his loan spell ends.
His only chance of coming on in the derby is if Manchester United are cruising with 20 minutes to go and Van Gaal needs to waste some time.
