On the back of the huge success of WrestleMania 31 the WWE appear to have already set in place plans involving Triple H that are sure to help ignite excitement for 'Mania 32 despite it being a full 12 months away.
According to NoDq, the WWE hierarchy is moving towards a match between Triple H and The Rock at AT&T Stadium next April after seeing how well their confrontation at WrestleMania 31 went down.
With Vince McMahon and co having previously been keen to pair The Rock against Brock Lesnar in 2016 this looks to have now been scrapped in favor of reigniting a classic feud.
"WWE is now looking at doing Triple H vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 32 next year. This would go along with the Stephanie McMahon vs. Ronda Rousey singles match" - NoDQ.com report
Triple H and The Rock nearly came to blows at Levi's Stadium following the latter's match against Sting. The way the crowd reacted to seeing the two veteran Superstars going head to head - not to mention the role of their respective female allies - has clearly set in motion big plans for next year.
With separate reports this week claiming that the WWE is keen to pit UFC star Ronda Rousey against Triple H's wife, Stephanie McMahon, WWE fans look likely to get what could be two awesome singles matches. Or perhaps even a tag-team epic involving all four star names.
The WWE are hoping to break attendance records in Dallas for WrestleMania 32 and putting on a match like this on what will inevitably be the undercard will help them achieve that goal no end.
Of course, with so much time to go until 'Mania 32 even appears on the horizon, there is time for the WWE higher ups to change plans but, at this early stage at least, it looks like an HHH vs Rock collision course has been set.
Like old times
While the way the WWE Universe reacted to the in-ring confrontation at 'Mania 31 has clearly helped sway the organization's decision-makers, the Triple H vs The Rock angle has not appeared out of the blue.
Indeed, back in 2014 SmackDown saw an angle involving both wrestling greats with the idea, according to reports, being that the two long-time rivals would eventually go head-to-head on the WrestleMania stage.
