Manchester United scouts watched Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson and Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain in last night's Coppa Italia semi-final encounter, according to the Daily Mail.
The report has claimed that members of the Red Devils were in attendance as Lazio secured their place alongside Italian giants Juventus in the final of the competition.
And it appears that they were watching the duo of Anderson and Higuain, who both seemingly face uncertain futures in Serie A.

Anderson, who is just 21-years-old, has enjoyed a fine campaign in Italy's elite division, and even assisted his side's match-winning goal last night. There's no doubt about it, his talent hasn't gone unrecognised, with a number of clubs seemingly interested in his signature ahead of the up coming transfer window.
As well as Louis van Gaal's side, according to the same report from the Mail, United's Premier league rivals Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal all have an interest in the midfield ace, while French moneybags Paris Saint-Germain appear to be admirers of the youngster.

It appears, then, that it will be quite the battle for the dynamic midfielder, who has been rated at around the £30 million mark.
Higuain, on the other hand, may also be on the move this summer, with the former Real Madrid striker seemingly unsettled in Serie A. In fact, the report has suggested that, with Rafa Benitez's future at the club uncertain, the Argentine ace could move on in the near future, but will cost a huge £40m.
It's far from certain as to whether the Red Devils would be willing to spend as much as £70m on the duo, but they certainly appear to be interested in adding to their squad ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.
Only a couple needed
A few months ago, many would have suggested that Manchester United were in need of yet another overhaul in the summer transfer window, but things have changed under the Louis van Gaal regime in recent time.
The squad at the Theatre of Dreams finally seems to be settling down, so perhaps the management would be wrong to make too many changes again in the next transfer window.
Perhaps Anderson, at just 21, would prove a solid coup for the future as the club go in search of long term success, but Higuain would make a surprise signing, as it may prove difficult to accommodate him in the starting XI.
