Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has revealed he remains content at the Bernabeu despite reported interest from both Chelsea and Manchester United.
Both Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho seemed keen on signing Varane with a bid in the region of £30million supposedly in the pipeline.
Speculation only intensified when Varane lost his place in the Real Madrid line-up to Pepe. Carlo Ancelotti has stuck by the experienced centre-back ahead of the France international, restricting his playing time.

However, Real Madrid bosses still see Varane, 21, as the long-term successor to the Portuguese star. They don't want to sell and it appears he does not want to leave.
Speaking after Real Madrid's 2-0 win at Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday, he said: "I am focused on our season and we are going to give everything to win it all. I am happy here."
Manchester United interest
Manchester United are looking all over Europe for a quality centre-back. They still need a long-term replacement for Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand. The form of Phil Jones, Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling has been erratic to say the least and Van Gaal is believed to want a world-class signing this summer.
Old Trafford officials have handed Van Gaal £150million to spend and Varane was believed to be on the shortlist alongside Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels. The German comes with more experience and after these comments from Varane could well be the first choice target.
Chelsea been defensively solid all season but Mourinho senses that John Terry will need replacing soon. There are also question marks over Gary Cahill. Kurt Zouma looks like he has the potential to be a long-term star for Chelsea and Varane was seen as the perfect partner.
Mourinho was manager when Varane broke through at the Bernabeu and has left a lasting impression on the Frenchman. The Special One was believed to have the upperhand in the race as a result.
It now appears that Varane has little interest in joining either of the Premier League giants and is happy to remain at Real Madrid.
