Loic Remy has scored the winning goal in each of Chelsea’s last two Premier League games - proving just how valuable he is to Jose Mourinho in the absence of Diego Costa. On Sunday, Remy will face his former club Queens Park Rangers, whose ex-manager Harry Redknapp has admitted he was surprised to see the 28-year-old join Chelsea instead of Arsenal. The Frenchman has had to contend with a role as understudy to Costa for much of the season but has ceased on his opportunity, with the Spaniard nursing a hamstring problem. Redknapp believed that Remy would likely prefer a move to Arsenal as opportunities to play week in, week out at Stamford Bridge would be limited. Remy has scored five goals in 456 minutes of Premier League football for Chelsea this season and has a better shot conversion rate than Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
