According to the Daily Mail, PSV director Marcel Brands has admitted it's very likely that Memphis Depay will leave the club come end of the season.
Brands is quoted as saying: “The chances are very high that he leaves. If you see what clubs are enquiring about him, they really are the best in Europe.
Brands added: “With a heavy heart [we would let him go], because a great player and a great guy leaves. But we are also proud that a boy from the academy is going to make such a step.”
This comes as fantastic news for Manchester United fans as the Red Devils are desperate to bring the 21-year-old to Old Trafford next season. If United were to succeed in landing Depay, it would certainly bolster their squad; the PSV winger is one of the most promising young stars in the world.
