Serie A champions Juventus are heavily interested in signing Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata and could make a summer bid for the Spaniard.
The Old Lady are well on their way of winning yet another Italian league title, which would be their fourth in a row, and the club are preparing for a busy summer with stars expected to come and go.
Officials at Juve are aware that the club may lose Paul Pogba, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez at the end of the current season, so they are keen to move fast in the transfer window in order to re-build their squad.

Pogba is wanted across Europe with several giants all interested in signing the Frenchman. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal have all been recently linked with signing the powerhouse midfielder.
Another man expected to leave is Vidal, who is wanted by United who were close to signing him last Summer before nothing formal materialised due to injury concerns.
As for Tevez, it's widely reported that the Argentine striker has a verbal agreement in place with officials at the club that will see him leave at the end of the season in order to re-join boyhood club Boca Juniors in his homeland.
So with three stars expected to leave, it's also expected that the club will be busy in the market themselves in order to replace players, and Mata is reportedly a top target for the club.
The Spaniard has so far struggled with life in Manchester since completing his £37million move from Chelsea, but in recent weeks he has been given a lifeline from Louis Van Gaal and has been playing regularly.
Mata was instrumental during the club's 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur and then scored an impressive match-winning brace against fierce-rivals Liverpool in a 2-1 win at Anfield, but he is still not guaranteed a first-team spot under Van Gaal who has a wealth of attacking options at his disposal.
According to reports in recent weeks, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid are both interested in signing Mata, but now Juve have entered the race and are reportedly ready to offer £18million in order to sign him.
Van Gaal is expected to have yet another Summer overhaul at Old Trafford and if a formal offer comes in for the 26-year-old, he may allow him to leave the club if a suitable replacement can be identified.
