Juventus urged to sign Oscar by Brazil boss

Brazil boss Carlos Dunga has urged Serie A champions Juventus to bring in Oscar from Chelsea at the end of the season.

The Brazilian playmaker has been strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge with the Italian giants interested in bringing him in over the summer as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba.

Pogba Exit

It's believed officials at the club are already planning for life without the Frenchman as they expect to fend off a whole load of transfer bids once the summer transfer window opens, and they are already on the look out for suitable replacements.

Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are the main clubs linked with Pogba, and Juve are prepared to sell if their price-tag of £75million is met.

Oscar Interest

With Chelsea being interested, there is a possibility of a potential player+cash deal involving Oscar.

The midfielder has been a regular for Jose Mourinho this season but hasn't won over a large proportion of fans at the club, so if a chance of offering him as well as money for Pogba comes up, it may be a deal that Mourinho and Chelsea take.

Juve boss Massimo Allegri has two ideal replacements for Pogba lined up, with one being Oscar and the other being Juan Mata from Manchester United, but Dunga believes the former would be the best option for the club.

However, he has admitted that Allegri will face a tricky task of getting Mourinho to sell the Brazilian playmaker as he is a big admirer of his work-rate.

Dunga Speaks

“Oscar has technique, reads situations well and is a modern and versatile trequartista,” Dunga said.

“He reminds me of Roberto Baggio, but also has similarities to Massimiliano Allegri. Brazilians like to have fun with their football, which hasn’t happened to Oscar very much recently, but I met Jose Mourinho and he spoke highly of all his Brazilian players.

“I tell Allegri that Oscar is strong and also a good lad. A forward line with him, Carlos Tevez and Alvaro Morata would drive any coach crazy.

“It wouldn’t be a step backwards for Oscar to go to Juventus. He’d be decisive in Serie A and whether he plays for Juventus or Chelsea it’ll always be a great club.”
