Extreme Rules is one of the rare nights of the year that the WWE Universe gets to see some of their favourite stipulations come into play.
Last year we saw an extreme rules match between Kane and Daniel Bryan which took the word extreme to new levels.
We were also treated to the first official match between the Shield and Evolution in their battle to establish themselves as the most dominant faction ever.

This year however we will see numerous title matches with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, United States Championship, Intercontinental and Divas championship already confirmed to be defended.
The show will have a match in almost every division and the WWE have now started to confirm the stipulations.
Arguably the strangest stipulation comes in the battle between John Cena and Rusev for the United States Championship.
Cena has put the title up for grabs every episode of RAW since he won it at WrestleMania and is now set to defend it at Extreme Rules.
Cena defended his title against Bad news Barrett on tonight's show and after Rusev attacked him with a certain item, the match stipulation was confirmed.
With a chain wrapped around his wrist, Rusev left the United States Champion out cold in the middle of the ring.
It was later confirmed that the match between the two at Extreme Rules will be a Russian chain match to decide the US Championship.
who will be champion?
Extreme Rules will be the first time that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship has been defended at two consecutive Pay-Per-Views since Night of Champions back in September.
This time it will be Seth Rollins vs Randy Orton and that isn't the only title match which will leave fans questioning who will leave as champion.
There have been four matches confirmed for Extreme Rules so far but everyone is guessing what else may be confirmed by the time the show arrives in Rosemont, Illinois.
