Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has insisted that he won't be managing the club anytime soon.

As reported by The Telegraph, the club's former number seven, who enjoyed an incredible stint at Old Trafford during his playing days, believes the club have found the right man in Louis van Gaal.

Van Gaal, of course, took over at the Theatre of Dreams this past summer after David Moyes endured a nightmare season at the club, and the experienced boss, who led the Dutch national team to the semi-final of the World Cup, has enjoyed a solid life to start on English soil.

Van Gaal's the right man

In fact, with just six Premier League games remaining, United are in poll position to secure a Champions League place for next season.

And Cantona certainly believes the club made the right choice by appointing Van Gaal as boss, as he claimed: "Managing Manchester United? No, I think today they've found the right one. He's a good one."

United, of course, produced one of their best displays under the Dutch regime this past weekend as they beat rivals Manchester City by four goals to two on home soil.

Up next for Van Gaal and Co. is a trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Premier League leaders Chelsea, and United will no doubt be hoping to secure their seventh straight league win.

Ultimately it has taken the Red Devils boss some time to get to grips with a side who had a lack of confidence when he took over last year. Despite possessing an array of talent, it was never going to be easy for Van Gaal to implement his philosophy at the club, but things now appear to be taking shape.

No longer are the club so heavily reliant on Spanish ace David de Gea between the sticks, and his side are now fluent when on the attack.

The likes of Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini and Ashley Young have all improved under his guidance, while Ander Herrera, Wayne Rooney and Co. have been slowly but surely learning their jobs in his team.

It has been a fantastic past six weeks or so for Manchester United fans - and the future looks extremely bright for all those involved with the club.
