We begin in the NFL where, as we move one day closer to the NFL Draft, there is growing belief that the Tennessee Titans will trade away their number two pick.
According to reports from Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, the San Diego Chargers are hoping to make a deal that will see veteran quarterback Philip Rivers, along with their number 17 pick, to Tennessee.
The move would allow the Chargers to draft Marcus Mariota, the highly touted quarterback out of Oregon, as a direct replacement for Rivers who is believed to be wary of San Diego's plans to relocate to Los Angeles in the near future.
Cole mentions that Rivers is just the beginning of the mooted trade, but if it did materialize it would see the veteran QB link up once again with Ken Whisenhunt who was OC in San Diego in 2013.
Meanwhile, in baseball, the Chicago Cubs have finally called up top prospect Kris Bryant to the Majors.
Despite excelling during the Spring games - topping the stats with nine homers - the Cubs kept the rookie third baseman in the minor leagues for the first 11 days of the season to retain rights for an extra year on his contract.
Across to the NBA and, speaking on the Knicks’ terrible season, Carmelo Anthony has admitted that he wondered at times this year if he’d made the right decision to stay in New York.
After opting to stay with the team last year, the veteran was shut down in the weeks following the NBA All-Star game as the Knicks endured their worst season in franchise history.
And finally, the New York Rangers got their 2015 NHL playoff campaign off to a solid start – beating the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 in Game One.
