Stone Cold Steve Austin is at odds with Vince McMahon and the WWE. You just cannot deny that this is true now. All signs are pointed to the fact that WWE and Stone Cold are not seeing eye to eye anymore.
Austin did not turn up at WrestleMania 31 because of ill feelings about McMahon and WWE's decision to hand Chris Jericho the reigns to a WWE Network podcast, something Austin wanted to get his hands on.
Furthermore, on Friday it was revealed that the WWE has sent prowrestlingtees.com a cease and desist letter relating to a number of Steve Austin items that he has been trying to sell through the website.
It is the latest perceived example of the real life feud that is developing between WWE and one of its biggest wrestling stars ever.
"WWE sent prowrestlingtees.com a cease and desist letter about a number of Steve Austin items, reports PWInsider. However, Austin has since taken to twitter and stated that the items will return," WhatCulture reported.
Worrying times for Austin fans?
It has been reported that Steve Austin believes he is allowed to sell his own merchandise as long as it isn't directly related to his WWE character.
Austin was obviously trying to get himself involved in a nice little earner, which could have earned him a decent amount of additional income, but WWE has put paid to those plans temporarily.
You have to say that these actions from WWE are not what you would expect from a company that is trying to lure Stone Cold Steve Austin back to WWE for one last match at WrestleMania 32 next year.
Austin fans will be very worried that these actions from WWE will force the legend to think twice about his plans for next year's Mania, but what do you make of WWE's latest decision to take action against Steve Austin?
Will this affect the company's ability to persuade Austin to come back next year? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
