Miz set to be written off WWE tonight?

Published 3 Comments

The Miz returned to WWE last year following filming of The Marine 4 - Moving Target, and unveiled the new "movie star" gimmick.

Since then Miz and his "Money Maker" have allowed the superstar to climb the ranks as a heel, and even team up with Damien Sandow, to give the former Mr Money in the Bank a new leaf in his WWE career.

Sandow was becoming irrelevant as a jobber, coming out dressed as a character that was hated in each state WWE visited, just for a cheap pop when a face came out and destroyed him. The Miz changed this and offered Sandow a job as his stunt double and changed his name to Mizdow.

Mizdow was pushed around a lot by The Miz under his film star persona and this put Damien over even further with the WWE Universe and now he has left Miz and teamed up with Summer Rae, it looks like he could be the one who comes out on top tonight.

Last week Mizdow challenged his former boss to a match with The Miz gimmick on the line, this means that if Mizdow wins he can continue dressing and acting like his former partner whilst Miz can't.

Word is, that Miz is set to be written off WWE TV tonight on Raw so that he can join Paige and begin filming Santa's Little Helper, a new WWE Studios film that is set for release this Christmas.

This leaves the impression that Miz could be the one who will be leaving his gimmick to his adversary tonight on Raw.

Tonight's go home episode of Raw is the final one before Sunday's Extreme Rules and will see the final live build up to all of the matches already announced. It should also see more matches announced, as the Tag Team Championship match is still yet to be decided.

Daniel Bryan's health may also become a factor as he looks set to face Bad News Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship on Sunday, but various reports suggest that the champion is "banged up" which could have implications for the upcoming match.

The final episode of Raw before a pay-per-view is WWE's last chance to advertise their product before the event and given Extreme Rules' build up this year, tonight could be one of the best episodes of the show.
