Former Arsenal striker Benink Afobe will challenge Harry Kane for the title of England's top goalscorer this season, and has branded himself "unstoppable".
The marksman has scored 31 times this season for both MK Dons and Wolves, which puts him one strike ahead of prolific Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
Afobe bagged 19 goals whilst on-loan at MK Dons before January, including two in their 4-0 League Cup win over Manchester United.
This still wasn't enough to convince Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to hand the 22-year-old a new contract at the Emirates, and Afobe was sold to Championship outfit Wolves in January.
Since the move Afobe has added another 12 goals for the Black Country side, and the hitman is expected to make his 50th appearance of the season at Wigan on Saturday.
"I had self belief but when you play week in, week out you're going to get more confidence - it's a different type of confidence - it's one to know you're unstoppable," he told Press Association Sport.
"It doesn't matter what league I'm playing in I'm going to score," Afobe confidently claimed.
Afobe has helped Wolves' promotion push significantly since joining the club, and the Molineux side currently sit in eighth, only three points away from the play-off places.
But despite his blistering form, Afobe doesn't feel the need to compare his performances to other players, and just wants to carry on scoring.
"I never compare myself to any player. The way people don't succeed in life is that they worry about other people too much," Afobe said.
"I wanted 30 goals. I got to 30 and now I want to keep scoring, I want to get to 35. People have asked 'what's my favourite goal?' I always say 'the next one'," he added.
