With Jurgen Klopp announcing that he'll be leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season, it is time to wonder who else could be also be moving away from the Westfalenstadion come the summer.
Players like Marco Reus, Matts Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan have all be linked with the exit door. A man who has slipped under the radar in a move away from Dortmund, however, is none other than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international, has been a big player for a Borussia Dortmund this season, but will he now be considering his future with Die Schwarzgelben set to miss out on Champions League football.
Aubameyang is currently Dortmund's top goal scorer having moved into a central role this term with the position vacated following the departure of Robert Lewandowski. The 25-year-old has 20 goals and 10 assists in all competitions for Dortmund, an impressive record for a side currently sitting in ninth place in the Bundesliga.
How can he improve Arsenal?
While speculation about his future is not as frequent as some of his more prominent teammates, Aubameyang has been linked with his departure, with Arsenal supposedly his most likely suitors.
Despite the incredible form of Olivier Giroud recently, the Frenchman never installs the greatest confidence in fans during one on one situations. Aubameyang in comparison, is clinical in those bread and butter centre-forward moments.
The one thing Arsenal have missed through the middle is lightening pace. Aubameyang has shown on numerous occasions, including against Arsenal in the Champions League, that his speed can rip apart even the strongest of defences.
At 6ft 2', Aubameyang certainly is no push over. It is rare to find a player that posses blistering pace and a physical presence also.
We've seen this season how important Giroud's hold up play is, which allows fleet footed players such as Alexis Sanchez to benefit. Aubameyang can bring the best of both into the Arsenal team, and help the Gunners push on for a title push next season.
