Despite being named as the superstar of the year at the 2014 Slammy awards, 2015 has been a very tough year for Roman Reigns.
First of all he won the Royal Rumble with a little help from one of the biggest legends in the business and was met with a chorus of boos.
He then defeated Daniel Bryan to cement his place in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania.

He faced off with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXXI and took a heavy beating before being pinned by Seth Rollins who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to steal the title.
Since WrestleMania, Reigns has been assaulted by the Big Show numerous times and will now face the giant at Extreme Rules on Sunday night.

Ever since the Royal Rumble, Reigns has been unable to anticipate how the different crowds in different venues would react to him.
Some have booed him whilst others have cheered him and on more than one occasion, he has faced an evenly split reaction.
Well now one of the biggest names in the WWE and someone with a lot of experience handling mixed reactions, John Cena has offered some advice.
“The advice I have for Roman is just be yourself because at this point if you try to change who you are to cater to the audience, especially the audience that is chanting, they will eat you alive." - Cena's advice to Reigns
For years Cena has faced a mixed reaction from the crowd as his constant stream of success has earned him a lot of resentment and admiration.
It seems almost customary now for Cena's familiar "Lets go Cena, Cena sucks" chants to fill the arenas but he remains positive.
"they know I put my life on the line, they know I pour my heart out and although they chant I think there is – or I’d like to hope there is, anyway – that underlying respect there."
But when it comes to Reigns, Cena sticks with his career's slogan of 'Never Give Up' and advises him to stick to who he is and he will win the WWE Universe back.
Reigns destined for glory?
Reigns became the second member of the group once known as the Shield to compete in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match and will still be angry at the events that took place that night.
With Rollins still as champion and set to take on Randy Orton at Extreme Rules this Sunday, it would appear that his mission of revenge against the man who destroyed the Shield has once again been put on the back burner.
However a video has recently been leaked which claims to be the promo for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the event after Extreme Rules which will be Payback.
Showing Rollins, Orton and Reigns, is it possible that Reigns' current feud with Big Show is just a space filler until he once again enters the WWE World Heavyweight Championship race?
