Arsenal hero Ian Wright had insisted that his former side must make three top-class signings this summer as the club go in search of landing the Premier League title in the 2015/16 campaign.
The Gunners have enjoyed a strong second half to the season, but look set to miss out on England's elite prize with Chelsea well and truly in the driving seat ahead of the final few weeks of the season.
Wright, though, seemingly doesn't think Arsene Wenger's side are too far away from winning the title, claiming that the Gunners should look to add the trio of Raphael Varane, Blaise Matuidi and Edinson Cavani to their ranks this summer.

It's far from certain, however, as to whether the Gunners hierarchy will look to swoop for any of the stars mentioned, but they'd no doubt improve the north London outfit as they go in search of success.
Varane, of Real Madrid, is now recognised as one of the leading defenders in world football, while Matuidi, who has been excellent for French moneybags PSG this season, would only improve the Gunners in the midfield department.

Cavani, also of PSG, is a world-class centre-forward, but he's often been utilised out of position in Ligue 1 this term. In fact, in 30 league appearances, he's only managed to find the back of the net on 30 occasions, but he'd no doubt prove as fine competition for Olivier Giroud in attack.
It certainly won't be easy for Wenger to land any of the stars, let alone all three, so fans of the club won't be getting their hopes up just yet, but they will no doubt feel that a couple of world-class additions could take them to the next level.
Wright is right
Ultimately, including the trio of Varane, Matidui and Cavani in his wish list, the Gunners hero is hoping his former side improve down the spine of the side.
Chelsea, who look set to be crowned champions sooner rather than later, have an incredible core, with the likes of Thibaut Courtois, John Terry, Nemanja Matic, Diego Costa and Co. all starring for the club.
Wenger's side, on the other hand, have occasionally lacked a bit of power in the middle. At times, in the centre of defence and midfield, the Gunners haven't looked as solid as their London counterparts, so it may prove an area Wenger seeks improvement.
