WWE Extreme Rules was yesterday and one superstar was very conspicuous by his absence.
Bray Wyatt hasn't wrestled since losing to the The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 last month, thanks to an injury he suffered just before that match, only popping up on RAW to drop promos aimed at one anonymous WWE star.
But we now know that the anonymous wrestler in question is Ryback and the feud between the two impressive stars will kick off on tonight's edition of Monday Night Raw.
According to a report from Wrestling Inc, the speculation is that Ryback destroying Bo Dallas at WWE Extreme Rules may be the catalyst for Wyatt to finally make his move and attack Ryback, thus kicking off their feud.
Wyatt and Dallas are real-life brothers and it will be interesting to see if the WWE Creative Team admit that, despite the two having differing on-screen surnames.
Wyatt the Enhancer?
Wyatt is 'The New Face of Fear in the WWE' but has yet to really prove it, always coming up short in feuds against the likes of Dean Ambrose, John Cena and most recently, Undertaker. However, if Wyatt is just used as a glorified enhancement talent for another mid-carder then it will be a disgrace.
Unfortunately, that seems like all this will lead to is a push for Ryback. According to Wrestling Rumours, WWE officials believe that Wyatt can help elevate Ryback on a much bigger scale, making him a believable main event superstar yet again.
That is a complete and utter waste of Wyatt. Bray has the potential to become an incredibly popular heel or face, he has the talents to excel in either role.
The WWE Universe connects with Wyatt in a way that they only do with the likes of Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler - another man who deserves a bigger push - and the WWE can't afford to put another loss on Wyatt before the crowd stop believing in him.
