We are less than 24 hours removed from Extreme Rules which took place in Rosemont, Illinois on Sunday night.

Extreme Rules saw its fair share of controversy, particularly from the main event where Seth Rollins made use of an illegal RKO to defeat Randy Orton.

The New Day also pulled off an upset as they left the new Tag Team champions after being the now former champions Tyson Kidd and Cesaro.

However John Cena and Nikki Bella both retained their titles after good matches against their respective opponents Rusev and Naomi.

Whilst it may have been fairly obvious that Cena would emerge victorious in his match with Rusev, Naomi vs Nikki promised a bit of a question for the fans.

Nikki emerged victorious after her sister Brie delivered a kick to the head of Naomi whilst the referee's back was turned and quite frankly, it was the most stupid thing that could have happened.

The result and the way that the Bella twins got the victory completely undermined and undid all the work the WWE had done in recent weeks.

Who was the heel again?

Heading into the match, Naomi had embraced a brand new attitude and after assaulting Paige and taking her place in the title match, was certainly the heel.

It may not have been intended but Nikki Bella certainly entered the match to a face's reception and what would happen just made no sense.

The climax to the match turned the roles around with the Bellas using dirty tactics to win and Naomi appearing as the hard done by victim of a conspiracy.

All the work that had been done to raise Naomi to the top of the divas division was completely undone as a result of the match, but there was something far worse that came from the match.

Give divas no chance?

The divas division is still living off the Twitter trend from several months ago entitled '#Givedivasachance' but the result of the match did the exact opposite.

Nikki Bella has held the Divas championship since winning it at Survivor Series back in November and frankly, it is time she lost it.

The Bellas have been top of the division for a long time and if the divas are to truely get the chance they crave, someone new needs to get their hands on the title.

What do you think GiveMeSport fans? Should Naomi of won the title last night? Are you happy with the current state of the Divas division? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
