Chelsea might be a nailed on certainty to win the Premier League this year but that doesn’t mean they’re irresistible, as Leicester City striker Andrej Kramaric has confirmed. The striker, who signed for The Foxes for £7.5 million in January, has revealed that he rejected a proposal from Jose Mourinho’s side as he wanted to ‘play real football’. The 23-year-old admitted he was worried that if he moved to Stamford Bridge he would end up being pushed out on loan, whereas he was guaranteed first-team football with Leicester. It’s an honourable cause, but considering the contrasting fortunes of the teams he might be reconsidering his decision now. Elsewhere Mourinho has insisted Roman Abramovich is happy with the way Chelsea are playing, revealing he hugged players after the 0-0 draw with Arsenal. From the Russian billionaire that’s a surprise, but he is about to win the league so we’ll let him off.
