Adnan Januzaj is close to agreeing a deal that will see him join Everton on loan next season, reports The Sun.
The Belgium international was a star for the first team under David Moyes, but has hardly featured at all for Louis van Gaal this season.
Once considered one of the world's brightest young stars, Januzaj's stock has since fallen significantly to the point that his long-term future at Old Trafford is in serious doubt.

He is expected to sign the loan deal when the current campaign ends and spend pre-season with Roberto Martinez's squad.
The move will come as no surprise to Manchester United fans, who have seen the 20-year-old start just eight games this season.

Januzaj's lack of first-team football, instigated by Van Gaal's chronically shifting tactics, has stalled his development significantly and a series of poor performances has only seen him fall further down Van Gaal's pecking order.
Manchester United officials will be hoping a season as a first team regular at Goodison Park will reinvigorate the winger.
But it is more likely to alert potential buyers, including Everton, who would be keen to take Januzaj on a permanent deal.
Paris Saint-Germain were linked with Januzaj last season, but it is not known whether Laurent Blanc has retained his interest.
Januzaj was hailed as the next Wayne Rooney by Moyes but has been brought back to Earth by Van Gaal. The Belgian does not have the ability to defend as a wing back is required to do and is also an unwilling occupant of the right-back position.
In a 3-5-2 formation, Januzaj simply has no place in the team. Van Gaal has tried to play him in a central position behind the striker and up front but both experiments failed to reap rewards.
Januzaj is more suited to a 4-3-3 formation where he can use his dribbling skills and raw pace to beat opponents. Van Gaal does not seem willing to change his tactics to suit Januzaj and that could mean the Belgian eventually leaves for another team.
Should he be available on a permanent transfer it is very likely a number of Europe's top clubs will be willing to take him off Van Gaal's hands.
Having signed Romelu Lukaku last summer, Everton proved they have the ability to sign top players and Januzaj would certainly be as a big a statement if he eventually signs permanently.
Should Manchester United be loaning out Adnan Januzaj or cashing in?
