Jerry Jones hints about his team’s draft plans

Published 1 Comments

We begin in the NFL, where Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has dropped a hint about his team’s draft plans. Having seen DeMarco Murray leave for the Eagles this offseason fans are hoping to see a top running back arrive to add much needed depth. Jones though insisted the Cowboys would be fine with their current back field for 2015 and had no urgency to take a back in the early rounds. Across to the NBA, and the San Antonio Spurs edged ahead in their playoff series against the Clippers last night - a 111-107 road win putting them up 3-2. The Houston Rockets meanwhile progressed to round two after beating the Mavericks in five. Finally, in baseball, the Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox are set to take part in an MLB first this afternoon. The Oriole Park fixture will take place without any fans in attendance as rioting continues in the city.
