Arsenal stand a great chance of signing Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech this summer with it being reported that the Blues shot-stopper is seriously considering joining the north London outfit.
This has been reported by the Mirror, who claim that Arsenal, alongside French moneybags Paris Saint-Germain now lead the race to secure the player's signature.
Cech, of course, despite starring in Chelsea's victory against Leicester City last night, has endured a tricky season under the guidance of Jose Mourinho, with Belgian youngster Thibaut Courtois now recognised as the club's No.1.

Unsurprisingly, then, with Cech approaching the latter stages of his career, he looks set to depart west London as he goes in search of first-team football once again.
And the same report from the Mirror claims that the Stamford Bridge outfit are ready to hand Cech, who currently earns £120,000-a-week at the club, any transfer that he wants after his fantastic service.

With Arsenal and PSG seemingly leading the race to sign him, the 'keeper certainly isn't short of admirers, with the same report revealing that the trio of Liverpool, Roma and Real Madrid have an interest in his signature.
However, with Arsenal in London, it appears that the 'keeper may well opt to stay in England as he won't have to deal with the hassle of moving his family around. Gunners fans will no doubt be hoping the club secure his signature, but it remains to be seen as to whether they submit an offer for his services in the near future.
Cech would be brilliant for Arsenal
Ok, so the duo of David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny are talented 'keepers, but they're not of the same class as Petr Cech.
The Blues ace has been one of the standout goalkeepers in the Premier League for the past decade, and is still a marvelous player between the sticks.
In truth, you can forget his age: at 32, Cech has arguably six or seven years left in him at the top, so could prove to be the Gunners' No.1 for many years to come.
Of course, it won't be easy for the Gunners to sign him from Chelsea, but he's certainly make a fantastic signing for Arsene Wenger and Co. at the Emirates. It's a deal they attempt to secure at the end of the season or they will regret it.
