Manchester United are ready to sell Jonny Evans for £10million this summer with Everton leading the race to sign him, reports Goal.
Evans has been in and out of Louis van Gaal's first team squad this season due to a number of frustrating injuries.
That has prevented the Northern Ireland international from reaching his best form and Van Gaal seems ready to replace him with a more reputable centre-back this summer.

Borussia Dortmund captain Mats Hummels tops Van Gaal's summer transfer wish list and a bid in the region of £32million is thought to be in the pipeline.
Chris Smalling has recently signed a new long-term contract while Phil Jones is also expected to extend his current deal, which expires in 2016, in the summer.

Jones has been part of the Old Trafford set-up for nine-years but has frequently played second fiddle to the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.
Manchester United's defence has come under intense scrutiny this season with Jones, Smalling and Evans all failing to impress at time.
However, Evans' position in the squad has been compromised by more than issues with his form and fitness.
The 27-year-old has not appeared for the Red Devils since March 4 after receiving a six-game ban for spitting at Newcastle United striker Pappise Cisse.
Van Gaal now sees Evans as expendable if the right offer comes in and Everton are ready to enter the fray.
Roberto Martinez, who managed the Toffees to a 3-0 win over United on Sunday, also has an interest in taking Adnan Januzaj on either loan or permanently.
The Belgium winger's development has stalled under Van Gaal and he may be looking to leave Old Trafford to gain vital experience ahead of next season.
Should Hummels arrive from the Bundesliga there will surely be no place for Evans in the squad.
Jones and Smalling are both younger than Evans while Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair are making waves in the Under-21 side.
With his contract up next summer, Van Gaal would either have to tie him down to a long-term deal or cash in now. The alternative is losing him for nothing next summer.
