Seattle Seahawks may have had the best defense in football for the past two seasons, but that doesn't mean that is going to stay that way forever.
In a bid to improve other areas of their team, the Seahawks have made some recent moves that include trading for star tight end Jimmy Graham.
Furthermore, it is now reported that Seattle are willing to trade away a key member of their defense.
ProFootballTalk have been told by a league source today that the Seahawks are considering sending linebacker Bruce Irvin to the Atlanta Falcons.
Seattle are not planning to exercise the linebacker's fifth-year option, and a move to Atlanta would reunite him with former Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
"Earlier this year, a report emerged that Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett wanted to be traded to the Falcons. Another Seahawks pass-rusher ultimately could be the guy who gets shipped to Atlanta," ProFootballTalk reported.
"Per a league source, chatter already has emerged regarding a possible trade that would send linebacker Bruce Irvin to the Falcons, reuniting him with coach Dan Quinn, the former defensive coordinator in Seattle."
So Seattle fans, should the Seahawks trade away Bruce Irvin? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
