Whilst the biggest matches, segments and moments within the WWE happen on RAW, Smackdown or at the Pay-Per-Views, there is another notable platform for the superstars.
The WWE house shows often give us a great indication into what the creative team are planning to show us next.
Live shows often give us title changes, character changes and various other shocks without them ever being mentions on Raw or Smackdown.
One of the most recent house show developments has surrounded Erick Rowan who has been working as a heel in recent shows.
Whilst the events of the house shows rarely make it to RAW or Smackdown, the effects of what happens can often be reflected on TV.
Recently Rusev and Ryback have been engaging in matches at live events despite both carrying different feuds on RAW and Smackdown.
Rusev and Ryback have clashed before on TV but their feud was cut short and never really given time to grow despite showing a lot of potential.
However recently at a house show, Ryback defeated the Bulgarian Brute who had previously only ever been beaten by pin fall at WrestleMania XXXI.
Ryback defeated Rusev cleanly recently which is something that doesn't happen regularly with the Bulgarian Brute.
It is worth noting that whenever Rusev had previously lost at a house show, he would lose in a tag team match or by disqualification / count out.
Change of status?
Rusev is expected to go through a lot of changes in the coming weeks with Lana set to turn on him and his final match against John Cena coming at Payback.
Rusev could be about to drop down to the lower card despite being in one of the highlight matches at WrestleMania.
Where Rusev will be competing at in a couple of months time is anyones guess, but the WWE will have to work hard to keep the Bulgarian Brute as imposing as ever.
