Cesc Fabregas might be on cloud nine having clinched the Premier League title with Chelsea this weekend, but he certainly didn’t wait around to celebrate the achievement in England. No, reports in Spain suggest that the midfielder instead jetted back to Spain to spend time with Barcelona star Lionel Messi, a former teammate of Fabregas’ from his time at the Nou Camp, with the pair toasting to the Chelsea man’s 28th birthday. Elsewhere Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to pursue a deal for Mohamed Salah, but fear the Blues might stand in their way. The Egyptian winger has been out of sorts since signing for Chelsea in 2014, and Spurs are looking to offer him a way out of west London. It’s said though that Mourinho will be reluctant to do business with a Premier League rival.
