Gunners heavily linked with a lucrative takeover

Published 1 Comments

Arsenal fans have plenty of reasons to be happy at the moment, and word on the grapevine is things could get even better before too long. Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote, officially Africa’s richest man, has admitted that he remains interested in buying the Gunners, having failed to do so in 2010. Dangote declared that he still hopes to one day purchase Arsenal, and in doing so would no doubt give them virtually inexhaustible funds in the transfer market. The businessman has in the past criticised Arsene Wenger, claiming the team need a new direction, so watch this space. And it doesn’t get any better for Wenger with our second story, which focuses on ex-Gunners captain Cesc Fabregas claiming Jose Mourinho has the edge on any other managers he’s worked with. Tough luck Arsene, but he has just won the league.
