We begin in the NFL, and former first round draft prospect La'El Collins met with Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan on Monday after going undrafted.
Collins is working to clear his name after the murder of his ex-girlfriend and her baby. Police spoke with Collins about the case but the offensive lineman has not been named as a suspect. Both Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins are also interested in the LSU graduate.
Collins at the Bills?
Now that Collins is an undrafted free agent he will be able to choose his destination. It's safe to say that Ryan is very interested in the offensive lineman, hence the interest, but NFL.com reported on Tuesday that it's not just the Bills who are waiting in line.
"After going undrafted this past weekend, LSU offensive tackle La'el Collins had an impromptu dinner meeting with Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan on Monday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported according to a source informed of the situation," NFL.com reported on Tuesday.
"The Advocate first reported the news. The Cowboys and Dolphins are also among the teams interested in Collins, Rapoport added."
Titans changing offense
Sticking with the NFL, and Tennessee Titans have revealed that they are changing their offensive playbook to suit new quarterback Marcus Mariota.
Draft experts claimed Mariota was a terrible fit for the Titans pre-draft, but it looks as though Tennessee are doing all they can to get the best out of the dual-threat quarterback, according to Titans general manager Ruston Webster.
"Our coaches have been working on a plan for quite some time now for Marcus," Webster said. "Really to adapting our offense to his skill set -- he has a special skill set."
