Given that Arsene Wenger is looking to launch a sustained assault on the Premier League title next season there’s very few people he’ll be taking advice from in the transfer market. The Frenchman will want to do things his way, and that includes buying in talent he feels will help the Gunners draw alongside Chelsea in terms of quality. One man who has already offered his advice is former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour, who wants to see his old club sign Morgan Schneiderlin and Petr Cech. Wenger has been linked with bids for both in the past, although he’ll have to fight tooth and nail if he’s hoping to lure either one to the Emirates Stadium. Elsewhere Joel Campbell looks to have come to the end of his Arsenal career, as it’s said he’ll be offered to Sporting Lisbon in a bid to lower the price of William Carvalho. With a grand total of 0 goals to his name at Villarreal this season it’s hardly a surprise, although fans might opine that he hasn’t been given a fair shake.
