Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is 90% sure he will be leaving the club in the summer, insists his agent. The 31-year-old has had a poor campaign this term netting a meagre eight goals in the Premier League.
"It's 90% certain he'll leave Manchester City this summer," Toure's agent, Dimitri Seluk, told Sky Sports.
"Nothing has been decided - we are waiting until the end of the season."
The Ivorian signed for the Citizens back in 2010 for £24 million from Barcelona. Recent rumours suggest Toure won't be short of suitors, with Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain muted as the frontrunners for the industrious midfielder's signature.
The bulldozing midfielder had a phenomenal season last term scoring 20 goals and setting up nine in a title winning campaign. In the same season, Toure was inducted into the PFA Team of the Year and was awarded Manchester City's Player of the Year.
At the end of last season Toure's agent, Seluk, broke the news his client was unhappy at the Manchester club. It was reported the Ivory Coast international was unhappy with the time City took to offer him a new contract and also their forgetfulness of his birthday.
Super agent Seluk refutes the birthday claims and joked: "I have come to London to bring Yaya a birthday cake and I want to check that Manchester City buy Yaya a cake for his birthday too."
The bizarre birthday snub seems to be the tip of the iceberg of Yaya Toure's grievances with his current employers. At the tender age of 31, the excuse of age is merely that, an excuse, but there is no doubt the Toure of last season compared to this are miles apart.
Do you think Yaya Toure will get back to the form of last season? And where do you think the Ivorian will sign next season?
