ESPN ran a documentary on what life is like for talents in NXT earlier this week called "Behind The Curtain."
The documentary was incredible and so were the stars, one of whom was South African born wrestler Adam Rose.
The doc focused on Rose - then going by the name Leo Kruger - revealing that his son was born with a very serious condition that needs constant care, whilst Kruger himself had been told that he needed to come up with a completely new character or face being let go by the WWE.

Adam Rose's Creation
The character that Kruger - real name Ray Leppan - came up with was Adam Rose; a kind of old-school, larger than life, British rock star who parties absolutely anywhere and everywhere.
The persona was a complete success, with NXT fans taking to Adam Rose and his team of Rosebuds extremely well. Adam Rose was eventually promoted to the WWE main roster where he starred on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown.

The End of Adam Rose?
But it seems like we could be seeing the end of Adam Rose. Whilst the character was definitely over in NXT, that success hasn't exactly translated over to the main shows, with Rose now barely appearing on Raw; limited to appearances on Main Event and Superstars.
And it seems that after the airing of the ESPN special, Rose could be about to depart from the 'Exotic Express' and climb all aboard the hype train he has been riding.
Behind The Curtain gave Adam Rose a bigger push than the WWE Creative Team ever did and it gave the WWE Universe a chance to see the hardships that Rose/Kruger/Leppan has had to go through. And fans ate it up, with Rose becoming a trending topic on Twitter from the sheer amount of love he was getting from fans.
So, after the document aired, Rose took to his official Twitter account and asked his fans if they wanted him to return to the Leo Kruger character.
You can't deny those results. A large majority of fans want to see more of Leo Kruger and less Adam Rose. We will just have to wait and see if WWE Creative listens to them.
Something that could be very interesting would be for Love to do a Mick Foley and have separate personalities. Foley had himself, Mankind and Dude Love. It would definitely be an intriguing move.
