If there's one thing you can guarantee when you sit down on of a weekend afternoon to watch Soccer Saturday is a lot of laughs. A star line up of Jeff Stelling, Matt Le Tissier, Phil Thompson and Charlie Nicholas is always sure to provide entertainment.

But the man from whom you can guarantee a chuckle is ex-Arsenal player Paul Merson. The former England international is known on Sky Sports mainly for his poor pronunciation, among other things.

Current Crystal Palace keeper Julian Speroni and ex-Ipswich striker Shefki Kuqi have both fallen victim top Merson's inability to pronounce surnames.

Merson has had a series of unfortunate moments on live television. One of his teeth even fell out live on air before, along with being caught red-handed chewing on a sandwich mid-broadcast.

One of Merson's more iconic moments was his commentary during Manchester City's 3-2 victory over QPR in 2012, securing City the Premier League title, and this week, Merson provided us with another fantastic piece of footballing punditry.

Luckily, no footballers names were mentioned in Merson's latest mishap, but an interesting choice of words, and animals, left the former Gunner red-faced once again.

Talking about the relegation scrap at the bottom of the Premier League, Merson was asked about his opinions on Sunderland's trip to Goodison Park.

What happened next had the Soccer Saturday team laughing more than we usually see. You've got to see the video to believe it.
