Ahead of Barcelona's match against Bayern Munich, Barca boss Luis Enrique and defender Javier Mascherano spoke to the press.

Barcelona take a 3-0 advantage to the Allianz Arena, and should the Spanish side get one goal in Munich, Bayern would then need to score 5 goals due to the away goals rule.

It is set to be a fantastic game, with Bayern having to attack from the word go. We're expecting a free flowing, expansive game with both teams ready to pounce on any mistakes that the other team makes.

Luis Enrique

"Yes, we are the best counterattacking side - if 'Pep' said that, we accept his praise. Just like Bayern, we want maintain possession and we want to create openings. We don't want the game to be a crazy one. We have to use our weapons to hurt our rivals.

"We want the game to be as similar as possible to the first leg. Everyone attacks and everyone defends. Bayern has a lot of potential to score goals. We will have to go out focused on the idea of winning."

"We know how big Bayern Munich is and we will have to be at our best [to progress].

"Rakitić has become a key player for us. He is an intelligent player, and is physically strong. We are very happy with him as we are with all the players we signed this season.

"If we take the lead it would be good for us. But Bayern has the quality to score and they did cause us problems in Barcelona. The common objective is to go to the final."

Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano also spoke before the game, saying Barca should forget the first-leg.

“I think we should forget we are 3-0 up and go out to try and win the game,” the Argentine defender said.

“If we do anything different it would be wrong so we’ll try and do what we’ve done all season, which is to attack.

“We don’t know any other way of playing. That’s our philosophy and we’ll always try to score goals.”

Barcelona will have to be wary of Bayern Munich's threat, after 7-0 aggregate defeat in 2013.

“We saw what Bayern are capable of two years ago and what they can achieve. I imagine they’ll be hungry right from the start."
