With the Champions League clash between Barcelona and Bayern Munich on the horizon, fans of the Catalan club were waiting at the airport for their idols to arrive in Munich.

Some people wanted pictures, where others wanted their shirts signed by the best players in the world. One lucky fan had the fortune of coming face to face with the poster-boy of the 2014 World Cup, Neymar Jr.

Often when people meet their idols they can be left star struck, speechless, and praying they don't do anything too embarrassing.

For one fan, however, he was so fixated on Neymar that he failed to notice a catastrophe waiting to happen.

The fan, who can be seen wearing a fluorescent Barca shirt, is attempting to get Neymar to sign his shirt. Before the Brazilian had a chance to, the fan clattered into a pillar at the airport, right in front of his idol.

The fan laughed it off, and even managed to draw a subdued smile from Neymar. The winger then proceeded to sign the fan's shirt and exit the airport.

Despite the slight mishap, the fan got Neymar's signature which is what he set out to do.

Although he may have acquired a few bruises in the process, the impact was softened when Argentina maestro Lionel Messi also signed the fans shirt.

You can see the Barcelona supporter give a cheeky smile to the camera, straight after getting Messi's signature.
