The New England Patriots to appeal Tom Brady ban

Published 2 Comments

We begin in the NFL where Jameis Winston has been called out for his behavior by yet another high profile name. Legendary former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden has claimed that the number one pick was an embarrassment to the university during his time with the Seminoles – his performances at quarterback overshadowed by his off-field issues. Elsewhere in the league, Tom Brady’s four-game suspension continues to make headlines. With the Patriots quarterback confirming plans to appeal the ban, reports today suggest that the NFL will likely hear that appeal in June. Across to the NBA playoffs, and James Harden produced a triple double performance to keep the Houston Rockets alive against the Clippers. A 124-103 win means the series moves to Game Six. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers have the edge in their series against the Chicago Bulls, taking a 3-2 series lead thanks in large part to 38 points from LeBron James.
