There is little denying that WWE is often intent on reverting back to old ideas and the most recent reports regarding the company's decisions, prove just that.
Although nothing has yet been confirmed, it has been said that two of WWE's biggest stables in recent time could be making a return through both The Shield and The Wyatt Family.
At present, the closest we have come to a reunion of The Shield is the Fatal Four Way match between Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton this coming Sunday night at Payback.
This match alone however, has sparked rumours that WWE could be planning to reform the iconic stable at some point in the near future.
Following their split however, Seth Rollins has unquestionably had enviable success as an individual within the company, while Dean Ambrose has continued to develop his maniac role and Roman Reigns has made promising progress alone despite often being criticised throughout.
For WWE to bring back the trio therefore, would be a huge decision to make and really only seems like one which would take place if there were few other choices for the company.
Whether or not this choice would be beneficial to the three professional wrestlers or more importantly, the WWE Universe, remains to be seen but we could well see some kind of development soon.
In addition, it has also been reported than in another surprising WWE decision, Bray Wyatt could be set to make a face turn.
Although this would surely be played out well by Wyatt, the most obvious reasoning for it would surely be to reunite the entire Wyatt family as Luke Harper and Erick Rowan already reunited as a duo during last week's episode of SmackDown.
Although this news, as with The Shield reunion, is mere speculation right now, it would be difficult to imagine a face Bray Wyatt at all.
How exactly WWE would play out his character therefore would be interesting to see but it would make more sense to go ahead with this change than with The Shield at this moment in time as Wyatt is someone who has a huge amount of potential which needs to be given more of a push.
This would also mean the feud opportunities for Wyatt would surely open up greatly, with the likes of King Barrett or Sheamus seeming the most likely.
For now, WWE need to think of yet more new ideas in order to keep their fans pleased and with changes as significant as this perhaps due to take place, WWE will surely do just that.
