Sunday Express journalist John Richardson claims that Manchester United's potential signing of Gareth Bale is 'almost a done deal', reports the Mirror.

Richardson, who was speaking on MUTV this past week, has insisted that the Welshman isn't happy with his treatment at the Bernabeu, and looks set to complete a move to Old Trafford this summer.

Bale, of course, endured another torrid evening last night as Real crashed out in the semi-final of the Champions League, and Richardson believes he will return to the Premier League sooner rather than later.

On MUTV, the journalist claimed: "I think it’s almost a done deal to be honest.

"I know somebody very close to Gareth Bale and the public are not hearing the real thing.

Depay to sign on Monday

PSV winger Memphis Depay will complete a £31 million move to Manchester United on Monday, according to BBC Sport.

The Dutch international will play his final game in the Eredivisie on Sunday before heading to Manchester to sign a four-year deal with the Red Devils.

Depay, who is still only 21-years of age, is recognised by many as one of the most exciting forwards in world football after his wonderful campaign which has seen him find the back of the net on 22 occasions in the Dutch division.

Danny Ings to make decision

Another forward player possibly heading to Old Trafford this summer is Burnley ace Danny Ings. The youngster, who has enjoyed a fine debut campaign in the Premier League, runs out of contract at the Clarets at the end of the season and is set to decide his future by the end of the month.

This has been reported by the Daily Mail, who claim that Manchester United, as well as rivals Liverpool and David Moyes' Real Sociedad, are interested in the player's signature.

It appears, though, that Liverpool lead the race to land the forward, but it's uncertain as to whether Louis van Gaal and Co. will step up their interest in him anytime soon.
