Making the step up from NXT to the main roster can sometimes be a daunting and very challenging prospect.
We have seen those who have risen to the top following their transition and we have seen those who have done nothing but dwell at the bottom.
Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are one of the biggest NXT success stories as the Shield took the WWE by storm back in 2012.
Meanwhile the Ascension are currently languishing on the main roster despite being very successful within NXT.
A superstars worth can't always be judged from NXT to the main roster and some superstars can sometimes fail and choose to go back down to the development program.
One such superstar is Adam Rose whose main roster debut was advertised for weeks on end but has actually returned to NXT several times since coming to the main roster.
Despite appearing popular amongst the fans in attendance, Rose hasn't been able to climb up the pecking order in WWE and his latest move could signal a big change.
Rose has been paired with Rosa Mendes for several weeks now and tonight we may have seen him officially fire his rosebuds.
By removing his entourage and making him appear like more of a shallow character, the WWE could be signalling a big change all round for Rose.
The WWE already took away the bunny after a short lived feud and if they now remove the entire group of rosebuds, then they pretty much have a clean slate to start again with Rose.
It can't be denied that Rose is a great talent but perhaps he needs to find a way to distinguish himself on a packed roster.
What to change?
Rose wouldn't be the first superstar ever to change his gimmick and his personality and he could arguably be seen as one in most need of it.
Bray Wyatt himself is a far cry from the personality he began his WWE career with whilst a new admirer of Rose had multiple characters in Mick Foley.
Superstars can change their characters often (ask Damian Sandow) and it can either backfire or help launch their career, but what will happen with Rose is unknown to everyone right now.
