Adam Rose is a name that is synonymous with phrases like “life of the party,” “easy going,” and his trademark “don’t be a lemon, be a rosebud.”
Adam Rose is also one of the most gifted talents in the WWE locker room. Two weeks ago, ESPN aired a special behind the scenes documentary looking into the developmental brand NXT. The show spotlighted three talents: Xavier Woods, Corey Graves, and Adam Rose.
This was an exceptional documentary, which detailed all three men in a great light, especially Adam Rose.

Rose hasn’t been having the best of luck as of late. He has Ping-Pong balled back and forth between the main roster and NXT for a few months now with little to no success, until the pairing of him and Rosa Mendes.
Since this pairing, we have witnessed a slightly more aggressive side to Rose that many argue has not been seen since the departure of his heel character Leo Krueger.

Honestly, in this stage of Roses career, a heel turn would be amazing to see, even as Adam Rose.
Picture an Adam Rose meets Dean Ambrose and there you go. We saw a little peak of this turn on both this past Wednesday’s taped episode of NXT when he teamed with Tyler Breeze, and we saw it taken one step further with the backstage shot of him pushing the hot dog on Thursday’s SmackDown.
Now, it is safe to say, personality wise, Adam Rose has what it takes to be a fantastic heel. He could probably be just as good, if not better than, Seth Rollins. Physically, he has all the tools to be a phenomenal wrestler. He’s been at it all over the world for quite a few years.
Adam Rose as a heel needs to happen. Adam Rose as a heel could potentially elevate him to heights in the WWE he has not had the fortune of seeing yet. Adam Rose as a heel could potentially earn him major championships either over summer time or early 2016 if pushed right.
He does not need to resurrect Leo Krueger. The Adam Rose character as a heel is far more marketable and will draw more numbers from a marketing standpoint. From an entertainment standpoint, this is gold if handled appropriately.
It is also apparent that he is very frustrated. Frustrated at not getting any opportunities. Frustrated at his character. Whatever the case may be, if he is able to harness that frustration, Adam Rose as a heel, is going to be amazing.
After firing the Rosebuds Thursday, the transformation looks nearly complete. Truth be told, pairing him with Rosa Mendes was probably the best thing to happen to him. This villain side to him needs to flourish and grow. We could potentially have one of the all time best heels ever if this is handled right.
