Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has thanked the club's fans for their support after yesterday's 1-1 draw with rivals Arsenal at Old Trafford.
The Spanish international, who has been linked with a move away from Manchester in recent months, left the field of play with 16 minutes remaining after picking up a late knock, and it now remains to be seen as to whether he will ever play at the Theatre of Dreams again.
There's no doubt about it, the link with Madrid has been growing of late, and it would no doubt come as a major blow to the club if they lost him in the upcoming window.

De Gea, though, certainly knows that he's loved at United, as he claimed the fans are 'unbelievable', whilst he stated that he hopes his injury isn't too serious.
"Thank you very much indeed for your support. You're unbelievable. I hope the injury is not too serious. #MUFC."

Van Gaal unsure
One thing's for sure, Manchester United chief Louis van Gaal is far from certain if he's going to keep the services of De Gea for next season.
After yesterday's clash with the Gunners, the Manchester United boss admitted that his No.1 has a tough decision to make this summer, claiming that the player knows what he already has in Manchester.
Speaking on the subject of De Gea, as reported by BBC Sport, the Dutchman told reporters: "I don't think I can persuade him because he knows everything that he has at Manchester United at this moment.
"I don't have to say anything for the benefit of Manchester United because he can feel everything. The crowd has been unbelievable. You have seen that reaction here. It has been unbelievable, for the team and for him individually.
"When he is going he is losing that because here he has a lot of credits."
It could be the end
In truth, though, it's starting to look unlikely that De Gea will remain on English soil. The lure of Real was always going to be difficult for the Spaniard to turn down, but Manchester United will move on with or without him.
At the end of the day, over the years, the Red Devils have lost the likes of David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo to the Bernabeu, so they will once again find a new star.
And, perhaps, they already have one at the club. Victor Valdes may well be 33-years-old, but he's a top, top goalkeeper and certainly has the experience to prove his credentials at the club. Having been out for such a long period, it's not going to be easy for the Spanish ace, but he has more than enough ability to be the club's main man between the sticks for the next couple of years.
