Rolando Aarons is one of Newcastle United's rising stars and he is just 19-years-old, he could be an amazing player in the not too distant future.
He has already been dubbed by many as the 'New Raheem Sterling', but I must disagree. I think Aarons will be better than Sterling further down the line. I reckon that had he not been injured for a lot of this season, Aarons could have had an amazing breakthrough season, much like that of Harry Kane.
Having said all of this, Aarons still hasn't been tied down to a new long-term deal at St James' Park. His contract expires in the summer meaning that he will be a free agent in under two months time, unless the Magpies can get him the new contract we all need him to sign so desperately.

It's not like he needs it, I would be surprised if Aarons hadn't already been offered deals by a few different clubs. Premier League clubs too. There was even talk of him going to Arsenal but I have to say I think that would be a mistake on his part.
The Gunners already have wingers upon wingers upon wingers, and they don't need another one. Aarons would almost definitely be loaned out by Arsene Wenger should he move to the Emirates Stadium.

Aarons' burgeoning career would definitely progress much quicker if he were to stay at Newcastle. His talent is phenomenal and I know from being at the match against West Brom last week, the fans love him.
John Carver opted to bring on Sammy Ameobi in the dying embers of that game, and this infuriated the fans who thought they were going to get to see Aarons make his return from a long injury.
There was a rapturous applause when he ran down the line to warm up, the kind that gives you a little shiver down your spine. The fans love Rolando, he loves the club and I'm sure they would all like to work this out and get a new contract sorted for the youngster. So why wait? Get it done NOW!
I don't know whether Carver and Newcastle just don't see it or whether there has been other issues regarding this lad, but I know this: If Newcastle don't get Aarons signed up for another few years then it will be a disaster on the part of the club.
He will be one of the club's biggest and best players for many years if a new contract is signed, he is young but already has the talent. As long as the talented youngster manages to stay clear of injuries, he will have an amazing career, but will it be with Newcastle?
