Have YOU ever wanted to spend the night at a football stadium? Well, that day has finally come for one lucky person.

The Maracana is one of the most famous stadiums in the world, having hosted two World Cup Finals in 1950 and 2014 and now you can spend the night there.

By entering the Airbnb competition, a winner will be chosen to stay at the heart of Brazilian football for a night and then watch the Rio derby between Flamengo v Fluminense the next day.

An once in a lifetime opportunity

Inside the stadium has been reformed into some breathtaking accommodation. You will have the freedom of the ground and have the chance to go on the pitch for a kick-about.

You can stand on the very spot when Mario Gotze's brilliant chest and volley gifted Germany the World Cup last summer. Sounds exciting, huh?

There will also be a personal host provided and it is none other than former Brazil international Renato Gaucho. Gaucho will give you a guided tour around the ground and I'm sure he'll be up for some drinks and a penalty shootout after.

One thing to note, the competition's terms and conditions specify: "No ball boys provided. If you kick the ball outside the field, you will be expected to fetch it". Seems fair enough, I suppose.
