Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas could still move to Arsenal this summer as he's not decided whether he's going to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season.
This has been reported by the Daily Mail, who claim that the Spanish international, who has enjoyed a remarkable career between the sticks, won't be forced out of the club even if they manage to secure the signature of Manchester United man David de Gea.
De Gea, of course, has been linked with a move to Madrid for some time now, with speculation only having increased of late. It's far from certain, however, as to whether United and Real will come to an agreement on the player, but it appears that the star's possible arrive won't have an impact on Casillas.

In fact, even if De Gea doesn't arrive, the goalkeeper could look to move on in the next window, with the report claiming that Arsenal have been linked with a move.
Arsenal have had problems in the goalkeeping department this term, with Wojciech Szczesny having moved down the pecking order at the club.

His replacement, David Ospina, meanwhile, has starred on occasions, but still has his critics, so it's uncertain as to whether Arsene Wenger will look to bring a new shot-stopper to the club anytime soon.
One thing's for sure, fans of the Gunners will no doubt be hoping that the club splash the cash in the summer as they go about closing the gap on Premier League champions Chelsea in the 2015/16 campaign.
The wrong veteran
Perhaps, though, Casillas would be wrong veteran for the club to target. Ok, so the Real Madrid man has led a fine career, but doesn't appear to be the same goalkeeper of old.
Chelsea's Petr Cech, on the other hand, despite being replaced as the club's No.1 by Belgian ace Thibaut Courtois, is still a remarkable shot-stopper, and has proven Premier League experience.
Already living in London, it certainly wouldn't take Cech long to adapt to his new surroundings, and he's the type of goalkeeper who'd be able to marshal the Gunners' back-line. Ultimately, Ospina and Szczesny are very good goalkeepers, but they are not in the same class as Cech. Wenger should do all he can to sign the Chelsea man, whilst staying away from Casillas.
