When the return of the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event was announced, much of the WWE Universe was delighted but also questioned whether WWE would pull off two big events in a month.
Following last night's edition of Monday Night Raw however, it seems there is certainly nothing to worry about in relation to just how good the Elimination Chamber event will be when it airs live from the FedExForum in Memphis on May 31.
Even prior to the confirmed matches being revealed, this event has a huge amount of potential given the brutality of the structure which they take place in.
WWE have however already produced an incredible line up for the night, even without the card being officially complete for the event which will air on the WWE Network in just under two weeks' time.
The current match card following last night's episode of Raw, will see Seth Rollins battle it out against fellow former Shield member Dean Ambrose with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Title on the line.
Following their incredible Fatal 4-Way match facing Roman Reigns and Randy Orton at Payback this past Sunday, Rollins retaining will doubtlessly still be playing on Ambrose's mind and will certainly add to what will surely be an amazing match.
As well as this, we will see another title match; this time for the Intercontinental Championship which Daniel Bryan was so unfortunate to have to vacate due to yet more injury woes.
The line-up for this match is an interesting one as it consists of former holders of the title as well as those who would be winning it for the first time. It is as follows; Rusev vs Ryback vs Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler vs King Barrett vs R Truth. Although Sheamus will be the favourite for many, there are certainly a few names in their that are worthy of the belt, too.
A further title bout will take place through the Tag Team Titles Elimination Chamber match which, contrary to what many thought, will see an impressive six tag teams fight it out to becomes champions.
This will be the first time so many tag teams will have competed inside the Chamber at once in a tornado-rules style, which again adds to the excitement of this pay-per-view event even further.
This match will see current Tag Team Champions The New Day look to retain against; Kidd/Cesaro, Prime Time Players, Lucha Dragons, Los Matadores and The Ascension.
Just when it seemed WWE could not improve the match card for this event any further, another WWE NXT star made a welcome debut appearance on Monday Night Raw this week through Kevin Owens.
Owens teased challenging John Cena for the US Title but did not do so straight away and instead attacked Cena before we became aware that they will face each other at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event at the end of the month.
In what will be the first time Cena and Owens have wrestled each other, we will be sure to see yet another incredible match on a card which is undoubtedly of the highest performance level it could be.
