Jurgen Klopp has arrived in Turkey ahead of proposed talks with Istanbul giants Fenerbahce, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The German manager has been linked with several high profile jobs since announcing that he will be leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of this season.

Klopp's future

Fenerbahce look like they are the first club to officially look at hiring the much converted German, who they see as an ideal replacement for current boss Ismail Kartal. The Turkish side are still within a chance of winning the title as well as they Turkish cup, where they are in the semi-finals.

They are also eligible to play in Europe next season following their ban, which immediately makes them a more attractive option. Klopp has an excellent record in Europe in recent years that could make him the perfect candidate, having guided Dortmund to the Champions League final as recently as 2013.

Relief floods through Europe

The news of Fenerbahce's interest will be to the relief of many manager's across Europe. Klopp has been linked heavily to the Manchester City job, the Real Madrid hot-seat and is even thought to be West Ham United's number one choice to replace Sam Allardyce - don't laugh - whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Wherever Klopp ends up he's sure to be a popular choice and delight the fans with his sheer enthusiasm and passion for football. His biggest enthusiasts will hope he can bring Fenerbahce out of the European shadows, much like what he did with Dortmund, but only time will tell if he's offered the opportunity.
