Barcelona and Real Madrid fans clash after La Liga title triumph

Barcelona and Real Madrid fans scuffled in an airport after Madrid fans were left frustrated with a third consecutive season without the league title, a video posted on the Mirror website shows.

Barca fans can be clearly seen taunting their rivals, and a few Madrid supporters took exception. One Madridista can be even be seen kicking an opposition fan.

Luis Enqirue's side clinched La Liga with a 1-0 win at the home of last season's champions Atletico Madrid on Sunday, which capped a miserable season for Real.

The Catalans now have a chance at a famous treble; they play Athletic Bilbao in the Copa Del Rey final in 11 days and then face Juventus in Berlin for the Champions League on March 5.

The Barca fans, joyous after their victory, tried to laugh the angry reaction from the Madrid fans off. They may have only been joking, but their rivals were having none of it.

One fan proceeded to push and shove a Barca supporter, before kicking and swinging a punch at him. The 'Campeones' chant may not seem such a good idea to the Barcelona fans now.

Real have reportedly started the search for manager Carlo Ancelotti's replacement already, having finished the season with no silverware.

Jurgen Klopp, Rafa Benitez and Julen Lopetegul of Porto have all been reported to be targets for the Bernabeu club, while Jose Mourinho ruled a return to his former club out earlier this week.

The unclear future of star players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale contribute to what is a turbulent time for Los Blancos.
